Heat stress: a rising risk across the value chain

Heat stress is an increasingly material issue for companies to be aware of across the sector, with relevance across all tiers of the value chain. Heat stress is integrated within the Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) section of ADA’s risk profiles, using a standardised approach. This identifies where heat stress represents a significant, increasing, or emerging risk across countries and value chain tiers.

Users can now access newly developed Tier 1 Finished Goods risk profiles for Morocco, as well as updated Tier 1 Finished Goods risk profiles for Costa Rica and Colombia. A Tier 1 Finished Goods risk profile for Egypt is currently in development. This includes stakeholder engagement and expert consultation, which are integrated into ADA’s risk profile development process.
